Maia will accompany the children to play games in the yard, do crafts, cook meals, and actively help with housework to ease the parents' burden.

Maia:

I am a creative person. In the future, I hope to further learn more languages and engage in a major related to children's education. I always motivate myself to try and learn a new "craft" -- whether it's photography or sewing.

Since I've always loved looking after children, and my future plans involve languages, becoming an au pair seemed like the perfect fit.

For me, it means the opportunity to help a family, to be able to assist with their daily work and to take care of their children, while still learning Chinese and experiencing and learning another culture first hand.
