On 19^th of January. We have Andrea from Mexico arrived at Chongqing and joined the host family.

Chongqing is famous for the fog, we call it “city of the fog.”, the reason that the

Chongqing have this feature is because of it’s geography. The average of the fog

weather of Chongqing is 104 days annual. Therefore named it of the “City of fog “ 

The city of Chongqing is between Yangsan and Wutongshan mountain. The city

was built in the mountain, the roads are not flat, the buildings are stew at randomly.

Therefore ,it is also named  “city of the mountain”, which is also the the biggest

and famous mountain in China.

Ever imagine the feelings that to see the metro goes above your head when you look

out of the window? Line 2 from Lizibay station to Yuefangwu station, everyday it will

goes through the building. We believe that the Andrea will find it surprisingly attractive.

After introduce Chongqing ,let’s talk about Andrea.

Andrea is now 23 years old. She used to live in Toluca,Mexico. She study laws in her

university. Her first language is Spanish. And the English is excellent, she likes reading ,

cooking ,drawing, handcrafts and play guitar. This time she plan to stay in China for 6 month.

Andrea likes children , she was an teacher in a primary school , she teaches 3-10

years’ old kid. Teach them English and taking care of them. This experience which

gave her a great impression. She enjoy herself of spending time with the kids. She

was also an manager of the bread shops before, she was in charge of the inventory,

manage the staff and arrange the schedule.

The host family have 2 cute daughters who likes drawing a lot. We believe that they

like the new sister that they are going to have. Andrea did prepare a lot for this program.

She had an plan for the kid’s learning ,to enhance the level of the English for the kids,

she prepared songs and games, besides she also teach the kids drawing and handcrafts.

She would also want to share the Mexico culture, to let the kids know the other side of

the world. We believe that with Andrea, the kids’ English could improves a lot and learn a lot more.

From what Andrea said , she is so glad to meet the host family and wish she could

show the besr aspect to them. Hope Andrea enjoy the trip in Chongqing.
