At 9:50 on 14th of November, Danish girl Thea eventually arrived at Luohu checkpoint .

Thea is 20 this year who came from the kingdom of fairy tales - Denmark, graduated from high school

in Odense. She will go to university to study Chinese, English and business after the program.

Thea loves traveling, she went to Beijing and Shanghai in her school time, enjoyed very much.Beyond

that, she has been to Germany, Ireland, England, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Croatia,

Poland and Greece. She’s interested in China particularly, and she has been learning Chinese for 3 years.

What’s more, Thea is an active person, she like fitness, jogging, drawing, music, reading and being with children.

The experience of Zheng

Thea dedicate herself in teaching, and love the satisfaction from inspiring others, once she look after

two children from different family, a 2 year-old girl and a 4 year-old girl, it takes 6 hours per week. By the

way, she was a temporary teacher once, so she has rich experience in looking after children and English teaching.  

Thea indicate that she will assist children to learn English with her teaching experience, and communicate

with children in English as much as she can, let children adapt English environment faster and better, and

expend vocabularies. 

There are two children in the host family, a 5 year-old girl and a 3 year-old boy. They were very lively when

they saw Thea, held her hands and stuck on her. We believe children can make progress in English with

Thea, and we also hope she can establish a close relationship with the family and make progress with them!
