“Hello kids, can you speak English?”  “YES！“,Dawang school’s morning was full of laughing and talking on August

10th, about 20 AU pairs from all over the world was here to help the kids to learn foreign language and play games in

Luohu stay-at-home children summer camp.

It’s the “first time in forever” for the International AU pairs and the stay-at-home children to get together. For the AU

pairs, it’s a special Chinese culture experience, and for most of the stay-at-home children, it’s their first time to attend

 “foreign teacher’s class.”

 “It’s my first time to talk with foreigner, I’m so nervous but excited “the 7 year-old Xiaoyou talked to journalist with

his face red. foreign brothers and sisters had already established a close relationship with the kids by their enthu

siasm. After the game “robbing chairs” they have already been a “big together”, unskillful Chinese and childish Engli

sh cross over the activity, it was lively and funny there. “I just learn there’s a group of children after I first know the

 word stay-at-home children. I would like to be a teacher in China after I graduate from university, I gather a great

experience today.” said from 22 years old Marvin from Germany.

And for the children who have never seen the foreigner showed their great passion of knowing there will be som

e brothers and sisters with blonde hair and blue eyes coming, they ran out of the classroom and expected their

arrival. Destiny connect all the strangers from all over the world randomly, the unknown future is coming on

 their way.

Shenzhen is one of the most concentrated cities for outer worker in China, they left their hometown and leave

their young kid and older parents at home for their dreams and family to gather together in Shenzhen city. Every

summer vacation, lots of kids just like a migratory bird to travel to Shenzhen share the happiness with their parents.

However, parents have no time to spend with their kids for they got a job to do, most part of time the children just

stay at their home, then some accidents happened in the past few years. At moment of the summer vacation ,Luohu

women’s association ,Luohu women & children activity center organize the activity “childhood underneath the sky”

——Luohu district stay-at-home children summer camp activity ,and communicate with AU pairs is part of the

 activity .

“I was thrilled to stay up all night after I knew there are some foreigner coming.” Miss Ding, who have been to Shen

zhen for over ten years pressed the capital “LIKE” for this activity. “Everyday my kid reviews what happen that

day to me after he came home and prepare what’s coming next, it can fill up some regrets about I can’t accompany

 with him in his school days. It’s precious chance that so many foreigners came and teacher them English, after

all in our hometown it’s unusual to have foreign teacher.”

“My father also works overseas all year round, I know how bad it feels while the relatives have long been absented,

I can share my grow up experience to them, how to defeat loneliness, how to become stronger, how to stick to your

dreams .” said from 20 years old boy Harumi from Mexico. What should be mention is that Harumi had already stayed

in Shenzhen for over a year, who stays longest in Shenzhen among all the AU pairs yesterday. She also brought the

kid from her host family to the camp, having fun with the other kids.

In China, most of citizen have a little concept about the “International AU pair”. However, this kind of program was a

 huge popularity in the other country for decades. Born for promoting the international culture exchange, International

 AU pair program can date back to Britain, France, Germany and the other country. With the enhancement of China's

national strength, the number of AU pair in Shenzhen was increasing every year, there were more than 300 in

Shenzhen last year.

Gathered in Shaibu by metro then transfer bus 211 to Dawang, that’s all the AU pair’s trip mode that day.They study

Chinese ,practice Tai Ji, try to fit themselves into the city ,feel the whole different Chinese culture. “In Germany, there’s

 still someone thought Chinese wear cheongsam every, but what a surprising modern nation is it!” Marvin said.

According to the head of the ICXC, which organizes this activity said, International AU pair leave their hometown and

came to this strange nation, they faced a huge difficulty for their different language and the different culture, which ha

ve some similar point as the stay-at-home children, it’s benefit for them to communicate each other, the ICXC also

 show their willingness to make this activity as a routine project.
