When it comes to Wing Chun, many people may first think of the HongKong film - Yip Man.

In the film Yip Man, the best-known actor of Hongkong Zhen Zidan's Kung Fu has made many people familiar with Wing Chun, and even can play some symbolic moves of Wing Chun.

In a scene of the movie Yip Man, he fight with the Japanese General and soldiers, using the Wing Chun to suppress the Japanese soldiers, the final scene he defeated the Japanese soldiers that impress the people the most with the line "I want to fight with ten".

Wing Chun is a traditional Chinese martial arts, is a technology to prevent attacks, is an active, streamlined legitimate self-defense system. Comparing with other traditional Chinese martial arts it’s more focused on subduing opponents quickly and minimize damage.

Wing Chun is the south martial art which based on the theory of "Mid-line theory", it  emphasizes the use of correct concepts, consciousness and thinking mode to lead to the flexible application of limbs. Its content mainly includes "siu nim tau"(little idea) “chum kiu” (seeking bridge) and “Biu ji” (Thrusting Fingers) and so on, the main practice method is “Chi Sao” “Chi Goek " of double practice method; the auxiliary equipment are the wall sandbag, Sanxing pile and so on; the training equipment has wooden pile, knife, stick and so on.

For Au pairs Chinese kung fu has always been seen only in movies. So they were curious about what real Chinese kung fu was like. In this cultural class, we've took Au pairs to experience the charm of Chinese kung fu - Wing Chun.

This time we came to ShenZhen Wing Chun Hall to learn Wing Chun with Master Lu Weiqiang.

The content of Chinese martial arts is diversified, and the category is countless, but Wing Chun is unique. The wing chun spirit is to value both morality and martial , "if small ideas in your mind are not right, life is not right; so as the practice of martial arts, such as being a man." It is the spirit reflected in Wing Chun and the connotation of Kong Fu spirit.

Although it just only a few hours of experience, but the Au pairs have been attracted to the novel Chinese kung fu Wing Chun, everyone found it is particularly interesting. Following the master to learn some Wing Chun and also some simple defensive skills, so that the Au pairs could learn something about the extensive and profound Chinese Kung Fu.
